Due to expansion of our fleet, we are looking for motivated colleagues to join our team.

1st & 2nd Captain

As a captain, you are responsible for the entire ship, for the navigating and manoeuvring, the managing and the supervision of all nautical-technical matters. Furthermore, you are responsible for the safety of the ship, the staff and the passengers, according to legal regulations. The captain answers to the corporate captain and the management of the company. The captain works closely together with the hotel manager and the cruise manager on board.

Requirements

  • High school education;
  • Rhine patent to at least Mainz/Mannheim – Optional: Danubepatent;
  • Radar patent;
  • Good command of English and German (optional: French);
  • Representative and in good health;
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility;
  • Can-do attitude
  • Preferably in possession of the certificate Expert Passenger Transport;
  • Optional: first Aid diploma.

1st Officer

As a mate you assist the captain and the second captain with the performing of tasks of nautical maintenance. Furthermore, the mate answers to the captain and the second captain..

Requirements

  • Primary and/or high school education;
  • Rhine patent and/or Danube patent;
  • Preferably: radar patent;
  • A valid service record book with the corresponding function;
  • Proficient to good command of English and/or German (optional: French);
  • Representative and in good health;
  • Enthusiasm en flexibility;
  • Can-do attitude;
  • Preferably: First Aid diploma.

Engineer

As an engine driver, you are responsible for, amongst other matters, the engine room, technical installations and the complete technical maintenance on board of the ship. Furthermore is it the machinist responsibility to answer to the captain and the corporate engineer.

Requirements

  • Primary and/or high school education;
  • Diploma Machinist and/or sailor-Motor driver;
  • Service record book with the corresponding function;
  • Proficient or good command of English and/or German (optional: French);
  • Representative and in good health;
  • Enthusiastic and flexible;
  • Can-do attitude;
  • Preferable: first Aid diploma.

Sailor

A sailor is responsible for the maintenance and nautical activities on board of the ship. The sailor answers to the captain, the second captain and/or mate.

Requirements

  • Primary and/or high school education;
  • Optional: sailor degree;
  • A valid service record book with the corresponding function;
  • Proficient to good command of English and/or German (optional: French);
  • Representative and in good health;
  • Enthusiasm and flexibility;
  • Can-do attitude;
  • Preferably: First Aid diploma.
